Lucky Man Film is a company founded in 1999 by director, producer, and screenwriter David Ondříček; producer Daria Špačková has served as its executive director for the past ten years.
We are a film production company that creates projects we believe in. Our philosophy is to focus entirely on our work, the quality of our projects, and the joy of filmmaking itself—which is why we only do what we enjoy.
We have produced award-winning feature films such as *Samotáři*, *Zátopek*, *Jedna ruka netleská*, *Grandhotel*, *Ve stínu*, *Ztraceni v Mnichově*, and the Czech-American-British-French film *Anthropoid*.
Our films are screened around the world and featured at prestigious film festivals, including the Berlinale, the Palm Springs International Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, the Warsaw International Film Festival, the International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg, and the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.
Luckyman Films Production also produces professional TV projects, specializing in high-quality production and innovative storytelling across various genres.
We produce commercials for companies such as Panasonic, Coca-Cola, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Nestlé, Société Générale, Carlsberg, Danone, Amnesty International, McDonald’s, Ahold, Centropol, and many others.
Film acquisitions for Lucky Man Films are handled by Mucha / Ondříček, a company led by Kryštof Mucha, the executive director of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
