Sir “P,” a 90-year-old African gray parrot that once belonged to Edouard Daladier, finds himself in Prague at the invitation of the French Cultural Institute as a living relic from the era of the Munich Agreement. To this day, Sir “P” repeats some of Daladier’s important phrases and statements. Under dramatic circumstances, the parrot is kidnapped by Czech journalist Pavel, who—based on Daladier’s raw, controversial quotes—somewhat inadvertently unleashes an international political scandal. The French side resorts to a radical solution to this unpleasant situation and decides to assassinate its own national hero. But that’s only half the story…
